A LOVELY MARE WHO WAS A FAST FINISHING SECOND (BEATEN A HEAD BY NOBLE SCHOLAR WHO FOLLOWED UP UNDER A 7LB PENALTY AT HEXHAM) IN A BUMPER AT SEDGEFIELD ON 26TH MAY ON ONLY HER SECOND START. BROWNIE (HER STABLE NAME) HAS A JUMPING PEDIGREE PACKED WITH WINNERS AND SHE IS A VERY EXCITING PROSPECT FOR NOVICE HURDLING WHEN SHE RETURNS TO THE TRACK IN LATE AUTUMN. SHE HAS JUST COME BACK INTO TRAINING AFTER A SUMMER BREAK. THIS IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO GET INVOLVED IN A JUMPER WITH REAL POTENTIAL!
Her sire Heron Island won four races at 2 & 3 years from a mile to a mile and 6 furlongs including beating the Group 1 winner Always Ernest in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud. He earned a Timeform rating of 116. He is a three parts brother to Darshaan.
Brownie is out of Saucy Sprite, a winner over hurdles and is therefore a half-sister to five winners including Canada Street (trained by Howard Johnson) who has been successful over hurdles and fences (twice) as well as finishing runner up on five occasions. He was also an excellent third under top weight in the Durham National at Sedgefield last year.
Brownie is also a half-sister to Sherchanceit (by Norwich) who was a close third to Cousin Vinny on her debut in February 2008 and got off the mark over hurdles when making all the running under Ruby Walsh at Tramore last year. She has since finished runner up in much stronger company and returned to winning ways when making all the running at Killarney (15th July).
Brownie comes from a family which has produced many top class jumping performers such as Sports Reporter, Esha Ness, Sandy Sprite, French Goblin, Willsford and Stearsby.
COST & DURATION
Shares are available in multiples of 5%.
The cost of a 5% share is £800.
In addition to buying your share, you will be asked to pay a FIXED PRICE OF £95 per month towards her training fees, racing expenses and the administration costs of the syndicate.
