Dubara Reef 3-y-o Chestnut Gelding
Sire : Dubawi - Dam : Mamara Reef
Trainer : Paul Green

Paul Green is having an Open Morning on Sunday 11th April for anyone who is interested in learning more about racehorse ownership. Please give Paul Clarkson a call for further details and an invitation.
One 5% share is available in this scopey gelding by top first season sire Dubawi to anyone who would like to get involved in racehorse ownership.
This strong May born gelding is by Dubawi who was unbeaten as a two-year-old when his three successes included the Group 1 National Stakes at The Curragh. He was the top rated three-year-old miler in both Ireland and France in 2005 when his successes included two Group 1 events - The Irish 2,000 Guineas and the Prix Jacques le Marois. His first yearlings made up to £420,000 and averaged £91,000.
His Dam Mamara Reef, a winner both on the flat and over hurdles has a 100% record on the racetrack having bred six winners from six runners including Storm Dream who was successful in Graded company in America as well as finishing 3rd in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.
Ziggy (his stable name) is in training with Paul Green (Lydiate, Merseyside) and had three races in the autumn for experience. He was very immature as a two-year-old but comes from a family packed solid with winners as three-year-olds and upwards over middle distances. Having been well beaten in his three starts last year, Ziggy is a very well handicapped horse and his home work suggests that there should be plenty to look forward to on the racecourse in 2010.
Paul Green has made a great start to his training career having sent out the winner of one of the most valuable two-year-old races in Europe – The Tattersalls Ireland Sales Stakes at The Curragh – in both 2006 and 2007. During 2009 he saddled 16 winners and is expected to do even better this year.
